"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity." --Margaret D. Nadauld

what, you don't model your shoulder pads?? |
As my mom read me this quote the other night, I couldn't help but think that it exemplified and personified my mother to the "t." She has always had her priorities in the right place, and has done a good job of teaching me the things that are most important: faith, virtue, and refinement. Yes, I have a long way to go before I reach the point to where my mamasita has, but I love her for her example she is to me.
Happy Birthday, mamita!

yup. That's why I married her.
Too kind of you. You have reached your own points in life and you are by far way ahead of me. Love you!

I like your mom and I've never even met her! But I think she likes me anyway and therefore I like her.
