grey twilight...

"far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

I've been thinking about this all weekend. Not about the actual quote, but what it's saying. I find myself wondering what position I'd rather be in. I'm an idiot, successes and failures, happiness and sadness, are much better than none at all.

"What e'er though art, act well thy part."
I don't know who is originally attributed to that, but I've heard President Monson repeat it on a few occasions, and I'd have to agree.
